Access Data/Server Log files
VEACT GmbH (or its internet provider) collects data on each access to (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

Name of the requested website, data, date, time of the access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type plus version, operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

VEACT GmbH only uses the protocol data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the site. However, VEACT GmbH reserves the right to evaluate protocol data later if there is a reasonable suspicion of unlawful use due to concrete indications.

Handling of personal data
Personal data is defined as information that helps to identify a person. This includes name, email address and telephone number.

Personal data will only be collected, used and forwarded by VEACT if this is permitted by law or the user consents to data collection.

When contacting VEACT GmbH (for example, by email), the user’s information will be saved for the purpose of handling the request and in the event that connection questions arise.

Integration of third party services and content
It is possible that this online offering contains third party content, such as map material from Google Maps, RSS Feeds or graphics from other websites. This always assumes that the provider of this content (hereafter described as “Third Party Provider”) perceives the IP address of the user because without the IP address, it could not send the content to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. The provider shall strive to only use the content whose respective provider merely uses the IP address for the delivery of the content. However, the provider has no influence in the case that the Third Party Provider stores the IP address (for statistics purposes, for example). To the extent that this is known to the provider, it will inform the user of this.

Cookies are small files that enable us to store information specific to the user (PC, smartphone, etc.) related to the device in order to provide a better user experience on the site. They also serve to acquire statistical data of site usage and to analyse it for the purpose of improving the site. Users can have an influence on the application of cookies. Most browsers will allow you to erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. It should be noted that the use and especially the comfort of use can be limited without cookies.

This service uses Piwik, an open source software for the statistical analysis of user visits. Piwik uses cookies, text data that is stored on the user’s computer and that enables analysis of website use by the user. The information generated by the cookies about use of this service will be stored on the provider’s server in Germany. The IP address is immediately anonymized after processing and before being saved.  Users can prohibit the installation of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly. However, the provider advises users that in this case, they will not be able to use all functions of this website to their fullest extent. If you do not wish to have your data stored and used in this manner, you can deactivate storing and usage. In this case, an Opt-Out Cookie will be stored in your browser, thus preventing Piwik from storing usage data. If you delete your cookies, this also means that the Piwik Opt-Out Cookie will be deleted. The Opt-Out must be activated again during another visit to our site.

Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense, a service for including advertisements from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google AdSense uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and allows you to analyze the use of the site. Google AdSense uses so-called web beacons (invisible images). Through this web beacons, information such as the visitor traffic will be evaluated on these pages.

The information generated by cookies and web beacons on this website (including your IP address) and delivery of advertising formats to a Google server in the U.S. and stored there. This information can be passed on from Google to contractors of Google. Google is your IP address but not combined with other data you have stored.

The user may refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser, VEACT GmbH would point out, however, that you can use in this case not all the features of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and purpose described above.

Updating of data privacy statement
The ongoing technical developments in the area of IT technology and the internet require occasional adjustment of the existing data privacy statement. VEACT GmbH therefore reserves the right to make changes or additions to this data privacy statement.

Revocation, changes and corrections
Upon request, the user has the right to obtain information free of charge about the personal data that is saved about him/her. In addition, the user has the right to the correction of inaccurate data, the blocking and deletion of his/her personal data, as long as there is no legal obligation to detail such data.
